The organizers

Polish Association of Ringo, Municipal Office and the City of Niepołomice in cooperation with the International Ringo Federation.

Place

Poland is one of the largest countries in Eastern Europe, comparable in terms of area with Italy or Germany. Its population is estimated at around 39 million. In May 2004, Poland joined the European Union. Poland is a country with an established system of democratic governments, with a rich history, a huge cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes, fauna and flora.

The competition will be held in Niepołomice, which are only 25 kilometers from the center of Cracow (Kraków). The oldest monuments of Niepołomice date back to the mid-14th century and were built on the orders of King Casimir the Great (Kazimierz Wielki). Old history is closely connected with the royal mansion and frequent visits of monarchs in the Niepołomice castle. The Royal Castle has the most important role in the tourist offer.

In its renovated rooms concerts, exhibitions, performances and competitions take place. Today, the castle is a cultural and business center. Numerous concerts, exhibitions, business meetings, weddings, banquets are held here, and there is a high class hotel in the attic. Being in Niepołomice you can not miss the seventh largest forest complex in Poland, spreading over 12,000 hectares Niepołomice Forest cut by numerous bicycle paths and walking routes.

Rules

I. The purpose of the Championship:

1. Selection of the World Champion and Polish Champion for 2019.
2. Popularization of the Polish sports game for everyone - ringo.
3. Health promotion, dissemination of physical activity of people of all ages.
4. Intergenerational integration.

 II. Date and place of matches:

1. 16 - 18 August 2019.
2. Sports stadium of the Sports Club "Batory" Wola Batorska, Wola Batorska 734A

III. Organizer: Polish Ringo Society, Municipal Office and Commune of Niepołomice.

IV. Participants:

Participants of the World Championship, 5th Challenge Cup:

Players nominated by the PTR, representatives of foreign federations and representatives of countries invited by PTR.

Participants of the Polish Championship can be:

1. Players of the Polish Ringo Society, District Ringo Societies, representatives of Clubs (sections) ringo, nominated by the native unit, representatives of the foreign ringo federations invited by PTR, delegated by the president or secretary of a given Federation.
2. Non-members, including those invited by PTR.
3. Persons over six years of age are allowed to play with the presentation of a document with a photograph (at the request of the judge and / or the organizer).
4. Persons who submitted the application form on time and paid the entry fee.

Participants of the 5th World Family Tournament can be:

Families who submitted the application form on time and paid the entry fee.

• family triples I - are children under the age of 15, parents' age any (playing with 1 or 2 circles),
• family triples II - children over 15 years old, parents' age any (playing with 2 wheels)

V. Submissions of participants

1. Applications shall be accepted: by 22 July 2019.

2. Reports are made on the application form attached to the regulations.
3. We provide accommodation and meals to people notified on time.
4. Incorrect entries (incorrectly completed and / or incomplete) and after the technical briefing starts will not be accepted.

 VI. Rules and system of games:

1. The 7th Ringo World Championship will be played according to the rules of the International Ringo Federation game in the open category.
2. 47th Polish Open Ringo Championship will be played according to the rules of the International Ringo Federation game.
3. Games are planned in the following categories: żaczki (girls), żacy(boys); młodziczki(girls), młodzicy(boys); kadetki(girls), kadeci(boys); juniorki(girls), juniorzy(boys); open women; open men, amazons(woman), old-boys(man), seniors(woman), seniors(man), veterans I, II(woman); veterans I, II(man), doubles girls and boys under 13 (on the pitch 7mx14m), doubles girls and boys under 16 (on the pitch 8mx16m), doubles women and men.
4. The mentioned categories will be played if a minimum of six participants apply to them.
5. In the case of a smaller number of representatives than six in a given category, at the athlete's request, in categories "from żak to open", the judge may grant permission to start by one higher age category, and above the open category may allow a start in the lower age category.
6. A competitor may start in one individual and one team category.
7. During the Championships will be lead individual and club classification.
8. The system of games is decided by the Main Referee in consultation with the Category Judge and the representative of the competition organizer.
9. During the competition, non-contestants on the call of the referee within 3 minutes lose the match by a default 0:15, at the next default they are removed from the list of participants and unclassified in the championships.
10. In the categories of "doubles girls and doubles boys up to 13 and 16", the team representing one Club can be a team. (This provision does not apply in the categories of "doubles women and men").
11. In the "doubles girls and boys up to age 16" category, competitors can start from the "młodzik" category, and in the category of doubles women and men from the age category "kadet" (with the consent of the referee).
12. In doubles a substitute player may not enter the place of the injured player, and the team may not fight in a partial composition.

VII. Accommodation and catering:

1. The organizer provides food for participants according to confirmed applications. (breakfast at the hotel, lunches and dinners in the canteen of the Social School in Wola Batorska 734.)
2. Accommodation of participants after prior reservation:

• Hotel Niepołomice, T. Kościuszki 22 Street, 32-005 Niepołomice - price from 70 PLN to 90 PLN. per day.
• Villa Ostoja, Niepołomice, Droga Królewska 77 Street - price per night 70 PLN.
• Budget accommodation - Social Junior High School in Wola Batorska 734 (next the stadium) price of accommodation 15 PLN per night. (on mattresses).

3. In the place of accommodation and on the sports facility, the regulations of these facilities apply.

VIII. Final Provisions:

1. Players should be insured (by posting or individual).
2. The organizer is not liable for non-insurance of competitors, as well as for any damage or lost items of participants.
3. The competition will be played regardless of the weather.
4. All dispute issues are settled by the main judge in agreement with the organizer.
5. The organizer reserves the right to interpret the provisions of these regulations.

• 15.00 -20.00 - accommodation;

• 20.00 - briefing of heads of teams and judges;

17/08/2019 (Saturday)

• 9.00 - grand opening of the 7th Ringo World Championship, 47th Polish Ringo International Championship, 5th World Family Tournament
• 9.30 - start of games in individual categories: żaczek, żacy; młodzicy, młodziczki, kadet, kadetka; junior, juniorka; open women; open men; (according to the minute schedule determined by the referee of the competition),
• 12.00-14.00 - dinner,
• 13.00 – continuation of individual games, and staring categories amazons, old-boys, seniors, seniors, veterans I, II; veterans I, II,
• 14:00 - doubles women and men, doubles girls and boys under 16; doubles girls and boys under 13 years old
• 17.00 - medalists' decoration.

• 10.00 – 5th World Family Tournament in Ringo

• 15.00 – Closing ceremony of the 7th Ringo World Championships, 5th Challenge Cup in Ringo and Rinngtenis, 5th World Family Tournament in Ringo in the courtyard of the Niepołomice Castle, awarding of trophies, medals, award diplomas.

Application form of staying

The Polish Ringo Association ensures stay of participants from Friday evening (accommodation + dinner), Saturday (accommodation + breakfast + lunch + dinner) to Sunday (breakfast).
